The 82nd Airborne 505th Historical Regimental Combat Team is a Southern California based living history organization portraying the Headquarters Company of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne of World War II.

Our goal is to honor the men of the 82nd Airborne who served our country in World War II by bringing their stories to life through living history. Members of the 505th HRCT bring extensive knowledge and authenticity in their representation of the airborne soldier. The 505th HRCT is built on over 30 years of experience in the living history community. Our continued mission is to educate the public and keep the accomplishments and sacrifices of our veterans alive.

​In addition to actively participating in the living history events, educational programs, and memorial events, the 505th HRCT has had the opportunity to work with world renowned military artist, James Dietz. The 505th HRCT is often called upon to perform live situational modeling for many of his paintings.
